4月14日上午，网传广东汕头某小区，有女子从窗户口向外抛撒大量钱币，金额分别为面值500元和1000元的港币。

4月14日晚，汕头发布官方通报称，该女子因亲属病重情绪波动，安抚后已情绪稳定。抛撒的钱币被工作人员和群众陆续拾取并归还。
