Jay Revell的职业是报道高尔夫，但去年大师赛那天，他选错了球场。他窝在沙发上看Rory McIlroy穿上绿夹克，却没去哈瓦那乡村俱乐部——那里，他92岁的祖父Ed Bates正打出人生最后一轮好球。
Ed Bates人称"Big Ed"，在该俱乐部当了三十年首席职业教练。去年因健康问题封杆前，他在大师赛周日轰出76杆，比年龄还少16杆。Jay的父亲当天连打几通电话催他去打球，他拒绝了。「Jay, you missed something special today，」父亲事后告诉他，「He couldn't miss.」

几周后Jay特意请假去陪祖父打球，那是他最后一次能和祖父同组。那天的球没有飞得那么远，但Jay说，自己全程都在看祖父挥杆，而不是自己的球。
