北京时间3月31日，里昂官方消息，马利克-福法纳接受了脚踝手术，取出了固定螺钉。
里昂官方表示：“马利克-福法纳接受了一次右脚踝小手术，取出了去年10月手术时植入体内的固定器材（注：指钢板、螺钉等）。”
马利克-福法纳本赛季代表里昂出场14次，其中11次为首发出场，打进2球送出1次助攻，球员10月底至3月中旬因脚踝受伤一直缺席，此前他已经复出，代表球队出场了两次。
