当地时间3月30日，据美官员消息，美国总统特朗普向助手表示，即使霍尔木兹海峡仍大体关闭，也愿意结束对伊朗的军事行动。
US President Donald Trump has told aides that he's willing to end the US-Israeli war with Iran even if the Strait of Hormuz remains largely closed, The Wall Street Journal reported on Monday night, citing Trump administration officials.
据悉，美政府官员评估认为，强行重新开放该水道将使军事行动超出原定4至6周的时间框架。基于此，特朗普决定在实现削弱伊朗海军及其导弹能力等主要目标后，逐步结束当前军事行动。
Trump and his aides recently assessed that a mission to pry open the crucial global energy waterway would push the war with Iran beyond his timeline of four to six weeks, said the report.
