中越第40次北部湾联合巡逻于3月20日圆满结束，此次联合巡逻为期两天，舰艇编队由中国海军衡阳舰、恩施舰，越南海军“陈兴道”号、“李太祖”号组成。巡逻过程中，双方还组织了联合护航、联合反海盗、联合搜救等课目的训练。（央视新闻）
