2026年3月13日，在美国佛罗里达州的肯尼迪航天中心，两只美洲白头海雕（白头鹰）栖息在树枝上，另有两只雏鹰待在巢中。
NASA每年都会在肯尼迪航天中心、梅里特岛国家野生动物保护区以及卡纳维拉尔国家海岸保护区开展白头海雕巢穴调查，记录活跃与非活跃巢穴的数量，以支持野生动物管理和相关法规的执行。
每年冬季，这些白头海雕都会来到佛罗里达航天港栖息、繁殖，并在这里抚育新一代。
