近日，广东省肇庆市封开县林业局接群众举报，在江川镇界首村发现有人架网实施非法捕鸟。接报后，当地林业、公安等部门立即开展联合执法，将一名嫌疑人抓获归案，在固定证据后迅速将现场的捕鸟网拆除，并对被非法捕猎的鸟类进行救护。
目前，因涉嫌非法狩猎罪的周某某已被警方依法采取刑事强制措施，案件正在加紧侦办中。（央视新闻）
