3月18日，据挪威近海管理局消息，挪威国家石油公司（Equinor） 及其合作伙伴在Polynya Tubaen探区发现石油。
该勘探井位于Johan Castberg油田的7220/8-1发现井西南约16公里处，距离Hammerfest西北约210公里。
初步计算显示，该发现的可采石油当量规模在230万至380万标准立方米之间，相当于1400万至2400万桶。
