据新京报，3月16日，四名中国公民在泰国湄索县遭人口贩卖团伙绑至缅甸途中跳车逃生的监控曝光。 事发于3月9日，该地距泰缅边境莫伊河约500米。车辆行驶途中，坐在副驾的男子突然推开车门纵身跳下，落地后立刻冲向后门救人，但司机猛然加速。 男子再度跳上车，终于成功拉开车门让后座的另外三人逃脱。
