伊朗伊斯兰革命卫队今天（3月12日）称袭击了一艘悬挂马绍尔群岛国旗的美国“萨菲西亚”号油轮，因其无视伊朗伊斯兰革命卫队海军的警告。革命卫队还表示，在霍尔木兹海峡作业的油轮和船只应该明白，这种不安全是美国在该地区残酷侵略的结果。为了自身安全，他们必须遵守伊朗宣布的战时状态下的航行法律法规。
