近日，演员提莫西·查拉梅（“甜茶”）来华宣传乒乓题材新电影。期间在北京逛到一家店，瞬间认出孙颖莎的海报，用中文惊呼“我要买这个！”他还用手机进行支付，带走海报心满意足。
“甜茶”这个昵称就是中国影迷根据他的名字取的。“甜茶”表示，他8年前就想来中国，这次圆梦之旅他在成都喝茶、卖毛豆腐等，引发热议。
