3月10日，全国政协委员、中国乒协主席王励勤再次回应樊振东归队问题。王励勤表示“从中国乒协和我本人的角度，非常希望像他（樊振东）这样优秀的运动员，有机会能代表国家去为国征战。但每个运动员他的职业规划包括个人发展都有自己的考虑，我们也确实在做一些沟通。”
