本次阶段性申请中，我校实现历史性突破，成功斩获1枚牛津大学offer、1枚剑桥大学offer，牛剑同年齐发，正式达成“牛剑双录”的辉煌成就，再次印证我校学术培养体系的高度与厚度。其中，Rui Lei同学凭借优异的学术表现与突出的创新能力，脱颖而出斩获学校首枚剑桥大学计算机科学专业预录取通知书。剑桥大学计算机科学专业以严苛的选拔标准闻名全球，此次突围不仅是个人实力的极致彰显，更印证了我校拔尖人才培养体系的强大实力。

Spring heralds new beginnings, and joyous news fills our halls. At this pivotal stage of the 2026 global university application season, Tianjin Farragut School continues its stellar performance with a steady stream of triumphs! As of February 25, 2026, our graduating class has collectively secured 185 acceptance letters from institutions across 7 countries and regions, setting a new record for overall application outcomes. Notably, the UK applications achieved a historic breakthrough, securing simultaneous offers from both the University of Oxford and the University of Cambridge—a first in our history. Applications to the United States continued their steady ascent, with outstanding results from top liberal arts colleges and comprehensive universities, including multiple offers from U.S. News top-ranked institutions.

Despite this year's overall tightening of scholarship policies for U.S. undergraduate programs, 23 of our graduates have secured substantial scholarships totaling approximately RMB 9.33 million (equivalent to approximately $1.4 million USD) through their outstanding comprehensive qualities and robust academic strength. With solid academic foundations and outstanding comprehensive abilities, our students continue to lead Tianjin's international education landscape through their achievements. Expanding their academic horizons, they are reaching new heights with greater stability, diversity, and internationalization, infusing this spring with the most radiant energy of growth.

In this round of applications, our school achieved a historic breakthrough by securing one offer from the University of Oxford and one from the University of Cambridge. With both prestigious institutions extending offers in the same year, we have formally attained the remarkable achievement of dual offers from Oxford and Cambridge, further validating the depth and breadth of our academic cultivation system. Among these, Rui Lei stood out through exceptional academic performance and outstanding innovative capabilities, earning the school's first conditional offer for Computer Science at the University of Cambridge. Cambridge's Computer Science program is globally renowned for its rigorous selection criteria. This breakthrough not only represents an exceptional demonstration of individual talent but also underscores the formidable strength of our school's elite talent cultivation system.

Following consecutive years of securing admissions to the University of Oxford, our school has now achieved a full sweep of offers from the UK's G5 elite institutions (University of Oxford, University of Cambridge, Imperial College London, University College London, London School of Economics and Political Science) with this latest acceptance from Cambridge. This milestone completes our comprehensive academic advancement portfolio. For the 2026 admissions cycle, our school has already secured one offer from the University of Oxford, one offer from the University of Cambridge, and one interview invitation from Imperial College London. With a total of six “Oxbridge interview invitations,” we firmly hold the top position among comparable schools in Tianjin, demonstrating our school's absolute advantage in applications to the world's most prestigious universities.

In the Commonwealth direction, beyond Oxford, Cambridge, and the G5 universities, our students have secured offers from multiple top-tier institutions ranked within the QS Top 40, including University College London, University of Melbourne, University of Sydney, King's College London, and University of Edinburgh. The quality of these offers continues to rise steadily, fully demonstrating our institution's robust strength in Commonwealth university placements.

The U.S. direction continues its steady and robust upward trajectory, delivering particularly outstanding results. Significant breakthroughs were achieved in the top liberal arts colleges segment, securing admissions to Wesleyan University (ranked 13th by U.S. News), the University of Richmond (ranked 22nd), and Bucknell University (ranked 30th). In the comprehensive university category, the school secured admissions to multiple institutions ranked within the U.S. News Top 40, including two offers from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (ranked 30th among public universities) and three from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. These achievements consistently demonstrate the institution's robust strength in guiding students toward top-tier U.S. undergraduate programs.

Each impressive acceptance letter stands not only as a testament to students' relentless dedication but also reflects the robust foundation of our school's comprehensive educational system. As an international school accredited by Cognia, a globally recognized educational certification body, we hold dual official authorization as both a College Board test center and an Edexcel examination board test center. Additionally, we offer the Canadian Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) program, enabling students to register for Ontario provincial academic records and earn internationally recognized diplomas upon completing required credits. The school consistently prioritizes student growth, establishing a holistic cultivation model centered on “academic development + personalized planning + comprehensive empowerment” to safeguard every student's path to overseas higher education.

Leveraging this integrated cultivation model, the school has created a multidimensional growth platform encompassing high-end research, international competitions, premier summer programs, and global exchange camps, comprehensively enhancing students' overall competitiveness.

In competitions and summer programs, our students have achieved outstanding results in numerous international contests and top-tier initiatives. Dennis excelled in high-level competitions such as the John Locke International Essay Contest and secured admission to the Pioneer Summer School. Sophie was selected for China's national team at the ISEF International Science and Engineering Fair and advanced to the global finals, where only approximately 0.024% of participants qualify. She also gained admission to both the Pioneer Summer School and the University of Pennsylvania's College of Arts and Sciences Art & Science Summer School. Michelle gained early action admission to Yale University's Global Young Scholars Program (YYGS) for the 2026 summer session. This program boasts a global acceptance rate of 15%-20%, with application difficulty comparable to top 30 U.S. universities; Angelina secured two gold medals in premier international biology competitions: the USA Biology Olympiad (top 10% globally, regarded as the pinnacle of biology competitions) and the British Biology Olympiad (top 5% globally, hosted by the Royal Society of Biology). Both awards serve as highly authoritative endorsements for applications in biology and medical fields.

In brand collaboration, the TEDx Tianjin Farragut School Youth project—independently planned by our students and officially partnered with TED—was successfully implemented. Students gained extensive experience in organizational planning and multi-party collaboration through project coordination, external liaison, and operational management. Camp Exchange: Michelle secured a full scholarship to the Global Future Creative Class (GFCC) Summer Camp and participated in the immersive GFCC Winter Camp at Cambridge University during winter break. Centered on admission targets for world-leading institutions such as Oxford, Cambridge, and Ivy League universities, we break through traditional educational limitations by implementing tailored instruction through precise admissions assessment—combining comprehensive screening based on academic evaluations and language proficiency to develop preliminary personalized plans for selected students. We implement a tripartite mentorship system featuring academic advisors, admissions coaches, and research mentors who collaborate throughout the journey: Academic advisors solidify foundational knowledge, admissions coaches manage application timelines, and research mentors guide scientific projects—ensuring comprehensive support across all critical developmental stages.

Establish an advanced curriculum system offering university-level research courses and face-to-face instruction by top professors, enabling students to engage with cutting-edge topics during high school and cultivate scientific research and innovation capabilities. Implementing personalized, dynamic college planning for each student, we provide targeted training for Oxford/Cambridge interviews and Ivy League comprehensive assessments, while securing premium resources like summer research opportunities and academic recommendation letters.
