当地时间3月7日，伊朗总统佩泽希齐扬发表讲话，号召全民团结守卫伊朗，并表示伊朗绝不可能无条件投降。
在讲话中，佩泽希齐扬向邻国表示歉意，并表示临时领导委员会6日批准，不再攻击邻国，也不发射导弹，除非这些国家首先对伊朗发动攻击。
