据Mining.com网站报道，阿根廷经济部长路易斯·卡普托（Luis Caputo）周二称，纽蒙特将在阿根廷塞罗尼格罗（Cerro Negro）矿山投资大约8亿美元。
这笔投资将用于重启塞罗尼格罗扩产一期（Cerro Negro Expansion 1，CNE1）项目，将使得该矿运营寿命延长至2035年。
卡普托称，“这笔投资目的是提高公司运营安全，增加雇员，并推动地区发展”。
