北京时间2月20日，据《阿斯报》报道称，西班牙将与中国于6月举行一场友谊赛，这也将是双方自2012年后的首次交锋。
在2012年6月的友谊赛中，中国队的主帅是西班牙名帅卡马乔，最终中国队以0-1小负西班牙。
卡马乔于2011年8月正式上任中国国家队主帅，于2013年6月30日下课。
