当地时间2月12日，美国能源部长克里斯·赖特表示，美国目前控制的委内瑞拉石油销售规模已累计超过十亿美元，预计在未来几个月内还将为美方带来约五十亿美元收入。
他称，大部分原油被运往美国炼油厂加工，相关销售收入已移交给委内瑞拉临时政府。
