2月11日，胖东来创始人于东来在社交平台宣布，过年后正式退休，将转为顾问，胖东来工作由胖东来决策委员会主持。
公开资料显示，于东来，1966年出生于河南许昌，河南胖东来商贸集团董事长，2008年获得“全国抗震救灾模范”，2021年，以5000万元的现金捐赠总额，位列《2021福布斯中国慈善榜》第71位。此外，2025年12月，于东来入选了《中国企业家》杂志评选的2025年度25位影响力企业家。
