2月10日，米兰冬奥会短道速滑混合团体接力A组决赛，中国队最终获得第四，无缘奖牌，东道主意大利夺得金牌。35岁的意大利老将方塔纳获得了职业生涯第12枚冬奥奖牌，再创纪录。
方塔纳将个人冬奥奖牌总数纪录改写为12，继续成为冬奥短道速滑历史上奖牌最多的运动员。
这12枚奖牌包括3金4银5铜，来自六届奥运，且每届都有奖牌，覆盖了所有比赛项目。首枚奖牌来自20年前的都灵冬奥会3000米接力铜牌。
