当地时间2月8日7时，日本国会众议院选举投票开始。除部分地区以外，投票将于当天20时结束。投票结束后将进入计票环节。
本次选举围绕众议院465个议席展开角逐，其中包括289个小选举区议席和176个比例代表选区议席。
日本国会众议院法定任期为4年，但在现任首相高市早苗的推动下，众议院于1月23日提前解散，距离上一次众议院选举仅过去1年零3个月。（央视新闻）
