巴西联邦区法院（TJDFT）判处哥伦比亚籍棋手 Daniel Uribe Arteaga 因利用 Tether 的 USDT 实施诈骗及洗钱罪名成立，获刑 8 年 10 个月 15 天。案情显示，其以“每月 2% 回报”的虚假投资承诺诱骗受害者转账 150 万枚 USDT，随后通过多钱包及 Bybit、OKX 等平台转移资金。调查期间，巴西警方与 Tether 合作冻结约 109.5 万枚 USDT，占被盗资金约 73.5%。（Livecoins）
