北京时间2月6日，布鲁克林篮网宣布通过交易得到猛龙后卫阿巴吉，并裁掉前锋海史密斯。

布鲁克林篮网通过一笔三方交易，从多伦多猛龙得到后卫奥柴-阿巴吉以及2032年次轮选秀权，同时从洛杉矶快船获得现金补偿；为完成交易，篮网将瓦尼亚-马林科维奇的签约权送至快船。
在此次交易的相关操作中，篮网已正式裁掉前锋海伍德-海史密斯。
