2月5日，据报道，马来西亚银行集团总裁兼首席执行官Khairussaleh Ramli表示，尽管经济增长预计将有所放缓，马来西亚中央银行今年仍可能保持利率稳定。
“马来西亚国家银行没有降息的压力。”他表示，鉴于通胀温和，"我们认为隔夜政策利率将在全年保持在当前水平。"
此外，报道称，Khairussaleh表示，美联储上半年有50个基点的降息空间。
