2月2日，中国国民党副主席萧旭岑率团前往北京，参加“两岸交流合作前瞻论坛”。萧旭岑出发前表示，此行主要是为了两岸交流，两岸同属一个国家，国民党要当两岸和平的缔造者，后续也将安排前往清华大学参访。
