据交通运输部消息，目前我国已完成超380万份船员电子证书生成和推送工作。自2025年8月1日起，交通运输部海事局在内河和沿海航行的船舶中全面推行船员电子证书应用。交通运输部新闻发言人李颖表示，经过实践验证，电子证书在提升政务服务效率、保障证书使用安全、方便船员等方面取得了成效。
