据报道，加密货币巨头Tether首席执行官Paolo Ardoino透露，公司计划继续将巨额利润投入黄金市场，同时开始与银行在黄金交易领域展开竞争，“这么说吧，我们基本上很快就会成为世界上最大的黄金央行之一”。
每周有超1吨黄金运入Tether的一座金库，这是是目前已知的全球最大非银行、非国家黄金仓库。
