2026年1月23日起，茂名公安交管部门将在主城区开展为期近一年的交通拥堵专项整治工作。
此次整治将加大对逆行、加塞、违法停车等行为的查处力度。茂名油城圈小编发现，交警还将深入开展摩电专项整治，严查不戴头盔、闯红灯、超载及非法改装等行为。整治行动将持续至12月31日，其中1月至4月为攻坚期。来源：茂名发布
