财联社1月15日电，我国西北地区在建最大高铁站西安东站金属屋面今日顺利封顶，西安东站建设也将全面转入站房装饰装修施工阶段。作为西北地区特大型铁路综合交通枢纽，西安东站建成投用后，车站旅客年发送量预计将达到3650万人次，极大缓解西安铁路枢纽客流压力。
