北京时间1月15日，澳网男单资格赛决胜轮，中国选手吴易昺以6-3、6-2战胜博伊尔，连胜三场成功突围，时隔三年重返澳网正赛。
资格赛首轮，吴易昺以7-5、6-4击败克鲁格。资格赛第二轮，吴易昺以6-4、6-4击败梅希亚。
决胜轮面对世界排名第181位的博伊尔，吴易昺6-3、6-2连下两盘取胜，资格赛三连胜晋级澳网正赛。
随着吴易昺突围成功，外加张之臻、商竣程、布云朝克特，这是首次有四位中国大陆男球员同时参加大满贯正赛，创造新的历史。
