隆冬时节，鄱阳湖湖口县水域沿湖生态湿地迎来大批越冬候鸟，成群的东方白鹳、白琵鹭、反嘴鹬、雁鸭类等候鸟在此栖息觅食。
如今，该县鄱阳湖沿湖湿地已成为候鸟迁徙途中重要的“中转站”和“加油站”，越冬候鸟种群数量逐年增长，彰显了鄱阳湖生态环境持续向好的积极态势。
