A US immigration agent shot and killed a 37-year-old woman in her car in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on Wednesday during an immigration enforcement surge, according to local and federal officials, the latest violence in President Donald Trump's nationwide crackdown on migrants.

Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey adamantly rejected the Trump administration's assertion that the agent fired in self-defense, saying video of the shooting directly contradicted what he called the government's "garbage narrative".

监控录像显示，女子驾驶的汽车在与ICE特工对峙前已在道路上静止并侧滑了大约3分钟。几分钟之后，ICE执法人员出现在视频之中。

In response to the Department of Homeland Security describing Good as a "domestic terrorist" and claiming ICE agents had acted in self-defense, her mother, Donna Ganger said, "That's so stupid. She was probably terrified," adding that her daughter was "not part of anything like that at all," in reference to protesters who have been challenging ICE agents.

事件发生后，美国国土安全部部长诺姆为执法人员的行为辩护，称古德试图驾车撞向执法人员，属于“国内恐怖主义”行为。她表示，古德当天一直“跟踪并妨碍”执法行动，并试图“将车辆作为武器”。诺姆称，该执法人员“按照训练要求保护了自己和同事的生命”。

Kristi Noem, secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, told a news conference that ICE officers were responding to a vehicle stuck in the snow when they were harassed by a "mob of agitators".

One of the protesters, later identified as Good, followed agents all day, Noem said. Good blocked their vehicle and refused orders to move out of the way, she said.

"She then proceeded to weaponize her vehicle, and she attempted to run a law enforcement officer over," she said, adding that the car struck the officer.

She characterized that as domestic terrorism and said the act was under investigation by the FBI. State officials said they would launch their own investigation.

US President Donald Trump said the woman who was fatally shot was at fault because she tried to "run over" the officer.

"I want to see nobody get shot. I want to see nobody screaming and trying to run over policemen either," Trump told the publication, calling it a "vicious situation".

"I think it's horrible to watch," Trump said. "No, I hate to see it."

报道称，当被问及ICE的反应是否过度时，特朗普没有直接回答，而是将责任归咎于美国前总统拜登的移民政策。

此前，特朗普在社交媒体上称，被打死的女子是“职业煽动者”，阻挠并抗拒执法，随后又“暴力、蓄意且凶狠地碾压”移民与海关执法局人员，执法人员“显然是出于自卫才开枪的”。

Trump on Wednesday had said the officer acted in "self-defense".

"The woman driving the car was very disorderly, obstructing and resisting, who then violently, willfully, and viciously ran over the ICE officer, who seems to have shot her in self-defense," he said in a post on social media.

明尼苏达州州长、民主党人蒂姆·沃尔兹则表示，这是联邦政府“危险且煽动性的执法行动”所造成的结果。明尼阿波利斯市市长更是公开要求移民与海关执法局人员“滚蛋”。

After vowing to "get justice" and ensure a comprehensive investigation into the incident, Frey had a message for the agency. "To ICE, get the f*** out of Minneapolis. We do not want you here," he said.

这一事件已在全美多地连续两天引发抗议活动。
