在Reddit论坛上，一篇帖子引起了宝可梦粉丝们的关注：宝可梦官网上，《宝可梦：风/浪》的子页面网址已被注册。
尽管如此，目前文中所指的pokemon.com/windwave网站会被重定向到宝可梦官网主页面，也就是说windwaves的网站其实还没有实际上线。
但是贴主指出：如果“/”之后衔接的是其他内容，都会显示“404”错误，即真的不存在的子页面。
而“/”后接“windwave”只会被重定向，玩家们猜测：这暗示了该子页面已经实际存在，只是尚在搭建中，或将不日后正式上线。
