12月28日下午，台北市代表团前往上海动物园参观。去年的双城论坛上，上海与台北签署了《小熊猫物种交流及保育合作备忘录》，旨在为两岸动物保育提供更好条件。上海将赠送两只小熊猫到台北，而台北的斑嘴环企鹅未来也可能会来到上海动物园。
