阿森纳官方消息，由于卡拉菲奥里在赛前热身时受伤，斯凯利顶替他进入首发阵容。
此役主场对阵布莱顿，卡拉菲奥里原本作为左后卫进入首发名单。
赛前，阿森纳官方确认，由于卡拉菲奥里在赛前热身时出现问题，刘易斯-斯凯利顶替这位意大利后卫进入首发阵容。
这将是19岁的斯凯利本赛季首次代表阿森纳首发出战英超比赛，他本赛季此前11次英超出场均为替补上阵。
