12月26日，叙中部霍姆斯市一座清真寺发生爆炸，已造成5人死亡、21人受伤。
有目击者称，一名身份不明的人将炸弹绑在身上进入该清真寺内引爆，当时人群正聚集在那里进行每周五的聚礼。
