12月24日，据NBA官网的最新信息显示，爵士球员李凯尔的国籍已经更改为美国籍。据了解，李凯尔1993年9月20日出生于美国纽约，拥有八分之一中国血统（外曾祖父为广东客家人）。2023年7月24日，李凯尔获得中国国籍，成为中国男篮的首位归化球员。
