这是第59天阅读英文版《傲慢与偏见》。
上篇讲到贝内特太太对宾利先生一顿夸奖，对宾利的姐妹们也是赞不绝口，对衣着品位、气质修养都给予了赞美。
有赞美对象，就有抨击对象，这就是对立统一，这就是平衡论，在有人的地方就有左中右。
贝内特太太可能对谁展开批评呢？
Here she was interrupted again. Mr. Bennet protested against any description of finery. She was therefore obliged to seek another branch of the subject, and related, with much bitterness of spirit and some exaggeration, the shocking rudeness of Mr. Darcy.
玛德，生词一堆，我看不懂这么一小段文字，不行的，硬看也得看，一个句子一个句子的看，边看边把对应中文写出来，至于准确度或者是否完善不关注。
讲到这里她又被打断了。贝内特先生反对对华丽服饰的描绘。她只好开讲另一个题目，带着一些怨恨的情绪和一些夸张，讲述达西的令人震惊的无礼行为。
看见没，有时候不要得罪没啥文化的老妇女，得罪了她，她会带着怨恨夸张的哒哒。

这段文字尽管不长，但是陌生词磕磕绊绊的实在不少，不是我耐心地浏览着词汇注释，还真看不懂是啥内容。
我把这些词汇简洁注释，有的单词会适度的补充例句，主要是巩固这个生词的运用，学就是为了用，不会用学了就没啥实用价值。
1. interrupted
词性：动词（过去分词）
含义：打断；中断
用法：“was interrupted again”，再次被打断。
我直接补充例句，自己体会“interrupted”的用法：
They heckled him and interrupted his address with angry questions.
他们对他起哄，以愤怒的诘问打断他的演说。
The old man interrupted her at last.
老人终于打断了她的话。
He hates to be interrupted during training.
他讨厌训练中被打断。
Their conversation was interrupted in midstream by the baby crying.

2. protested

含义：抗议；反对

我补充三个权威例句，难度是提升了，但实景用法增大了，有必要反复拉几遍熟悉：
They had proved unpopular with head teachers, who protested they undermined efforts to maintain discipline in schools.
事实证明，这些措施不受校长们欢迎，他们抗议称这些措施破坏了学校维持纪律的努力。

含义：被迫的；有义务的
用法：“was obliged to”，被迫做某事。
6. branch

含义：分支；方面
用法：“another branch of the subject”，另一个题目。
7. related
词性：动词（过去式）
含义：叙述；讲述
用法：“related... the shocking rudeness”讲述…的无礼行为。
8. bitterness

含义： 怨恨

我补充例句，体会“bitterness”的用法：
