据香港特区政府新闻网消息，截至今日（12月20日）中午，大埔宏福苑援助基金收到的外界捐款约37亿港元，连同政府投入的3亿港元启动资金，基金总额约为40亿港元。住宿援助方面，截至今日上午，581名居民居于由民政及青年事务局协调的酒店房间，559名市民居于青年宿舍/营舍；另有3513名居民现居于房屋局的过渡性房屋、房屋协会项目或屯门宝田中转房屋的单位。
