当地时间12月17日，甲骨文公司表示，位于密歇根的数据中心项目的股权交易最终谈判仍在“按计划推进”，其中不包括Blue Owl Capital。后者近月来曾帮助甲骨文、Meta等企业的大型数据中心项目融资。甲骨文指出，该项目的开发合作伙伴Related Digital从一组具有竞争力的备选方案中选择了“最佳股权合作伙伴，其并非Blue Owl”。
