37岁消防员何伟豪殉职，同袍悼念：下班了，好好休息

11月26日下午，香港新界大埔屋邨宏福苑多栋住宅楼发生火灾，已造成至少55人遇难。其中，消防员 何伟豪殉职。

Ho Wai-ho, a 37-year-old firefighter, died while tackling the blaze at one of the blocks of Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po of Hong Kong. The fire broke out on Wednesday afternoon and spread rapidly to other towers in the estate, leaving at least 55 people dead.

多名消防同袍在社交媒体发文悼念，更有大批市民在消防处社交网站留言，感谢消防员奋不顾身地英勇救人，获救市民表示，感激消防员为市民付出。

据悉，何伟豪加入消防处约九年，隶属沙田消防局，担任“细抢”队员，负责操作小型救援车，并执行相关灭火救援任务。据了解，何伟豪加入消防处之前，是一名警务人员。

香港消防处处长杨恩健昨晚在现场简报救援情况时表示，何伟豪在下午3时01分到场，是首批抵达救援的消防员，负责在地下救援。何在约3时半失去联络，至下午4时01分在宏昌楼升降机对开空地被寻获，当时何的面部烧伤，由救护员急救及送到威尔斯亲王医院抢救，至下午4时45分证实死亡。

Director of Fire Services Yeung Yan-kin said Ho, from Sha Tin Fire Station, arrived at the scene at 3:01 pm to fight the blaze on the ground floor of one of the eight blocks, where the fire broke out at 2:51 pm.

However, Yeung said Ho lost contact with his colleagues at 3:30 pm and was later found with burns to his face at 4:01 pm at Wang Cheong House. Ho was rushed to the Prince of Wales Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 4:45 pm.

杨恩健表示，何伟豪一直克尽厥职，表现英勇，对于痛失这位尽忠职守的同事，感到非常难过和惋惜，部门上下均感十分痛心，已代表部门所有同事，向其家属致以最深切慰问，消防处福利组及心理辅导组会全面支援家属。

"Having been a member of the Fire Services Department for about nine years, Mr Ho's performance was valiant. I am profoundly grieved at the loss of this dedicated and gallant fireman. All of our colleagues are deeply saddened by the loss of such a devoted comrade. On behalf of all our colleagues, I have offered the deepest condolences to his family," Yeung said.

"Our Welfare Officer and Psychological Services Unit are closely liaising with Mr Ho's family and will render our utmost assistance to help them through this sad and difficult time."
