北京时间10月6日17时45分，瑞典皇家科学院宣布，2026年诺贝尔物理学奖授予科学家弗朗西斯・哈尔岑（Francis Halzen），以表彰其“对冰立方中微子天文台（IceCube Neutrino Observatory）的决定性贡献，以及发现天体物理起源的高能中微子”。
弗朗西斯・哈尔岑将获得1200万瑞典克朗诺贝尔奖奖金。
