11月19日，阿联酋航空发布声明称，将额外订购8架空中客车A350-900机型客机，该机型将搭载罗尔斯罗伊斯Trent XWB84发动机，预计于2031年内完成交付。阿联酋航空表示，按目录价格计算，该笔订单总价值达34亿美元。
