外媒表示，目前可以100%确认索尼A7V将于12月初发布，使用圣诞节前出货，3300万像素传感器，α7V的机身与α7RV基本一致，AI芯片，售价不到3000美元。但是有消息人士透露A7V无Open Gate功能，也无预拍摄功能，4K60p有裁切，如果这是真的那确实有些遗憾，不过最终版本中的规格也可能会发生变化。
