朝鲜最高人民会议常任委员会前委员长金永南于当地时间11月3日因病逝世，享年97岁。
外交部发言人毛宁4日在例行记者会上答问时表示，金永南是中国人民的老朋友。他生前曾多次率团访华，为推动中朝传统友好合作关系发展作出了重要贡献。中方对他的逝世表示沉痛哀悼，向其家属致以诚挚慰问。
