10月23日晚，上海一辆2024款理想MEGA在无碰撞情况下自燃。理想汽车回应称，初步调查发现，同批次车辆因所用冷却液防腐性能不足，可能腐蚀电池内部铝制冷却板，导致冷却液泄漏，在极端情况下引发动力电池热失控。事故与宁德时代提供的麒麟电池总成无关，冷却液由理想选定的第三方供应商提供。理想承认云端预警系统虽提前告警，但未能及时干预，错失处置时机，并就此致歉。
