10月31日，广东东莞市石排镇沙迳公园因在长凳上安装扶手，被质疑该设计是否合理。
11月1日，属地庙边王村工作人员回应称，扶手已拆除，并解释此前安装是应村民需求，旨在帮助老年人起身时撑扶，因公园使用者多为老人，他们常需借助物体撑扶站立。
