10月17日，随着中铁三局雄忻高铁五台制梁场最后一榀箱梁成功浇筑，雄忻高铁山西段箱梁预制作业全部完成，为后续架梁及铺轨施工奠定了坚实基础。
雄忻高铁正线全长约342公里，其中山西段工程约122公里，所需预制箱梁共计1669片。中铁三局管段全长31.15公里，设有2座梁场，承担647孔箱梁的预制任务，五台制梁场负责其中341孔箱梁的预制工作。
