北京时间10月23日，据ESPN记者Brian Windhorst报道，塔里-伊森与火箭未能在截止日前达成提前续约，但双方均有意继续合作，分歧可能在于合同中的伤病保障金额部分。
伊森新秀赛季出战82场比赛，但2023-24赛季仅出场22次，2024-25赛季出战57场。
Windhorst表示："据我了解，火箭向伊森提供了丰厚报价，合同总额超过1亿美元，但具体保障金额尚不明确。"
