北京时间10月22日，开拓者队球员阿夫迪亚接受采访时谈到了和杨瀚森用中文沟通挡拆的事情。
记者：你现在在中国越来越受欢迎了，中国很多球迷都关注你，对此你有什么感受？
阿夫迪亚说道：“谢谢，非常感谢。我爱中国，而且我现在普通话学得很好。比如我知道 “右手”是右边的意思，所以每次瀚森过来挡拆，我都会用中文喊 “右手！右手！”。还有 “左手”，对吧？我还在进步，会越来越好的。”
