10月21日，界面新闻现场获悉，明阳智能发布了全球首款50MW风电机组。该机组由2台25MW主机，采用半直驱技术路线，风轮直径290m，排水量约39000吨。
发布会后，明阳智能董事长张传卫在接受界面新闻等媒体采访时表示，25MW的风机预计会在今年下线，50MW的浮体有望在明年下海。
